Pros

The only thing good about Primark, that you can grow up when you want.

Cons

If you just come 5 mins late, you don't have opportunity for grow up if it not past 6months/1 year. If you just call sick even one time(They don't care if you are almost dying) you are not available to change your hours. There is no Rota and this is the worst thing.

Pros

There's always overtime apart from during January and February which is great for students or parents of young children.

Cons

A lot of favouritism amongst staff. Many senior staff are incompetent, don't know what they're doing, abuse their power, take things personally and react during work, as well as treat staff with hardly any respect. If brought to another senior staffs attention it isn't taken seriously and almost dismissed, there's not really anyone to talk to about work problems that affect you. You're made to feel invaluable and.stupid. supervisors think they're managers and have serious attitude problems. It's unprofessional. The only way you can get through working at primark is by shutting up, being invisible, and putting up with things you shouldn't have to. Career progression is almost impossible and a lot of the time it's not the stores own staff that get promoted, it's outside candidates. HR deal with it so you might as well be a stranger because they know nothing personally about you and all they care about is your at tendency rather than your capability to do the job - hence poor selection of senior management from promotions
