      Successful, fast-paced and with right leadership can offer some great growth.

      Cons

      Autocratic, untrustworthy and presenteeism rife. Poor HR organisation so little leadership for change.

      Pros

      It's fun at first and it's a good first time job but that gets old really quickly. The other sales assistants and those in the same position are fun to work with. Keeps you busy.

      Cons

      The management are awful and if you do something they don't like you or make a mistake will be pulled into the office and interrogated like your at school again. They talk down to you and make you feel like a child. They definitely display favouritism among staff and they don't listen to you. The work is repetitive and boring. If your the quietly confident or shy type they will see this as a sign of weakness and bully you. I fell pregnant during my time working here and due to pregnancy complications I took a couple of shifts off. My next shift in my manager called me into the office and said "Your only pregnant.. I've had lots of pregnant girls in here" Every pregnancy is different, you are a man how could you possibly understand and what a rude thing to say. My time here depressed me and while I'm greatful for the experience I'm glad to be out of it. There was only one manager I truly liked out of about 4.

      Pros

      The only good thing about working in Primark is the staff themselves.

      Cons

      Not enough staff, too much workload and the salary is poor compared to what required to be done by the staff everyday.
