Great company, dont go into R&D

Pros

Great company for all the usual reasons.

Cons

Cons only if you work in R&D. Underappreciated, underpaid. Less benefits/amenities than the commercial side, constant undermining from the business teams. Your managers are generally uninspired, nice people, who are doing their job but have no delusions of grandeur or visions of greatness. Plus if youre in R&D your pay sucks compared to the rest of the company, and your promotion timelines suck as well so don't bother dreaming of a long term career.

Pros

Benefits received from day one.

Cons

Extremely racist. If you do not know someone that already works there, you're screwed. Your benefits are given to you from day one, but are not allowed to use a sick day the first SIX MONTHS! Please don't waste your time in Iowa City. The pay is not worth your misery.

Pros

P&G makes a serious investment in employees. I spent the first year training at my full salary. Very challenging work. Great peers and coworkers.

Cons

Work/life balance in operations is difficult.
