Pros

Competitive salary Yearly raises Profit sharing Relocation benefits Many options for relocation if desired Great operators on the floor Non-union (at Mehoopany Plant)

Cons

Leadership does not deal with/get rid of managers who are not performing - just move them around to other departments Very poor communication within the site and from corporate around important items Extremely frugal for a company of their size - difficult to get money to even put through important safety projects Do a great job of coming up with ideas to make morale better, but never seems to follow through Morale at the plant on the floor and with managers is very poor Seems like upper management doesn't really care about the people

Pros

1. Nice starting salary 2. Global projects 3. Nice people 4. Some work-life balance, work arrangements flexibility 5. Adequate management (generally)

Cons

1. Huge inertion due to company size 2. Cost-saving program that is currently realized 3. Productivity pressure - people start to get overworked 4. Shrinking importance of service functions - will cause problems in the future 5. Management hypocrisy, as in all corporations (e.g. awesome new Flex @ work program, when in reality there is not much behind it). Generally tend to present things as if they were much more than they really are.

Pros

Experience with projects in global environment on very large scale Very high responsibility as of day 1 in IT department You are working with the group of very talented people There is a possibility to rebuild your career (within the function) every couple of years - Company takes care of the rotation and changing the assignments if you want to and since it is so big then you can feel like having several jobs actually

Cons

Work life balance is questionable - as long as you have the passion for your work this can be acceptable, in the crisis moment you see it through Very special "collective" culture - if you're deterred by this, it is the beginning of the end of your career Scale means also slowness of the decision making, horrendously complex matrix organizations - you need to like such an environment to thrive in
