Pros

You get a lot of responsibility early on in you carreer which really allows you to grow. Also almost all people in P&G are intelligent which makes working a lot nicer and easier. Also, in general people are very helpful with each other, i.e. just picking up the phone and calling somebody from another department, country etc. will almost always be a success, i.e. people will try to help you out with your request / question.

Cons

Unfortunately when it comes to carreer progress, things become less positive. The promotion rules keep on changing, and current new starters are victims to poor HR previously, where many (not always so good people) where promoted quickly, now creating a lack of opportunities for promotions. Also, promotions are not necessarily based on good work but more on 'show off' projects which are not always good for the business, but create the very overstretched word 'visibility' which is all that counts in the end. The ones who try to do a good everyday work and actually keep the company turning shouldn't expect any credit for it.

Pros

1. It is a world of its own--- it is very organized and structured; things run effectively and efficiently. 2. It is a very open organization. Feedback is a way of life. You can directly give feedback, be it positive or negative, and nobody will take it against you. 3. It always aims to do the right thing. They are pretty straight forward on the rules. They try not to have grey areas. 4. It respects the key values and promotes it consistently.

Cons

1. Highly competitive environment. You are rated against your peers. You are just as good as your last performance. 2. Very bad work-life balance.

Pros

You learn a lot by interacting with top profesional and being exposed to various business challenges, geographies, cultures. You have multiple opportunities to grow in career, does good to your CV.

Cons

Compensation package is not among the best, you work like crazy. Huge internal complexity, 80% of your time you spend in internal work and building x pages useless documents for some y people to see and comment on. Simple common sense decisions are not simple here. Though promotion opportunities exist they are not always fare and they are subjective and driven by politics. People working on upper management are often favored and that's how you end up with top management having no leadership or common sense people skills. As a result you have top talents getting frustrated and leaving the company. As a rule, positioning and presenting counts more than the actual results.
