Pros

Reputable and stable company, great corporate values.

Cons

Compensation is average at best and the comp system is designed to reward tenure more than performance (even though the company will tell you that it's "performance based"). Mid-level managers at Band 3-4 are too consumed with brown nosing their bosses that they forget to make their direct reports feel valued

Pros

Wonderful culture of work-life balance (at least in most business units). All of my managers have cared about my personal well-being, career goals, and job satisfaction. They allow administrators to take on projects an responsibilities that fit their interests over time, which makes my job challenging and interesting (never boring).

Cons

There are departments and groups that have poor work-life balance and aggressive cultures. Also, if you do want to move up in the company outside of the administrator role, you have to "bleed blue" and be willing to work beyond the 40hrs. That being said, if you're happy with where you are at, then they will never ask you to work more than 40 hours/ wk.
