Pros

Very organised, systematic. Do their homework. Brand communication is researched prior to implementation. Great first job or job up till a brand manager level.

Cons

Paralysis through analysis. Everything is researched to death. Nothing happens through gut feel or informal MR. Brand managers role is straight jacketed with very little strategy and more implementation. Feels like you never made a difference. Lots of time spent in meetings that lead nowhere. Sometime, somewhere P&G lost its entrepreneurial spirit. Its staffed with people who drank the corporate Kool aid.
