Pros

Good work-life balance and above average compensation Nice friendly culture In general managers are intelligent and competent Value-driven

Cons

Company is downsizing for opportunities of career progression are very limited specially for recent graduates Jobs in non-core brands and markets can be boring some of the jobs can be extremely dull and uninteresting Only the less ambitious managers remain in the company, blocking the development of new graduates

Pros

The people I've worked with are top-notch.

Cons

Many poor managers who are only out for themselves. Minimal rewards and careers are stagnant for most. The downsizing is killing everyone and there's no leadership in discerning how to take this company to the next level without piling 2-3-4 jobs on 1 person. Stock hasn't split in many years, and the retirement benefits aren't what they used to be.
