Pros

Worldwide reputation and seemingly respected in the world at large. Very much a "promote from within" company, so good if you can see yourself sticking within them for a long time.

Cons

Career progression seems to follow a set timescale and binary pattern (at each stage, either you're good enough to progress to the next level or you're not). Due to company structure (P&G UK is a distributor for tax reasons, and therefore not allowed to talk in terms of profit and loss per se) a vast majority of the financial metrics you will be using will not be relevant to the world at large.

Pros

P&G is so diverse that veryone can find his dream job. Your career depend on contributions and capabolities and not on one single individual.

Cons

Decisions need often to much time. P&G is crises driven, so you need a problem to get something changed and that generates unnecessary stress.
