Pros

Great Experience. A lot of opportunity for growth/travel. Fast pace environment. Diversity is being acheived. Family Environment Great Facilities and Perks for Employees Great relocation/spouse packages Competent management Great Mentor-New Worker Program

Cons

Location: Cincinnati is a love/hate city: either you like it or hate it. Not a very much diversity. If you are not an Engineer, may want to search around before you consider job offer. A very big gap between pay and advancement.

Pros

Procter and Gamble is a great place to work because they bring the best out of you. My manager is extremely supportive of my goals and where I want to go from my current position. The company really focuses on your development into a strong innovative leader. You also have the opportunity to go outside of your department and find career mentors. The pay is also the best I was offered from any of the jobs I applied for. My favorite part is that you are always encouraged to challenge the way things are done and that is incredibly encouraged. It's not for everyone but if it's the right fit for you and the company, it will be an amazing experience.

Cons

The first downside I can think of is the dental plan. I live in Boston where dentists are not cheap, and unfortunately the Procter and Gamble dental plan goes off of Cincinnati prices which are much cheaper then Boston. I also think a downside is that there is no Christmas Bonus. That may sound greedy, but at the same time, it's nice to get that extra thank you for a years worth of good work and it helps bring those holiday bills down. Those are really the only downsides that I can think of but as I think of more, I will be sure to include them.

Pros

If you want to work in a large company where you can create your path, this is the place to be. P&G reminds me of a large university where you have so many resources and great minds in one place. It's up to each employee to be the best they can be. In a relatively short time, P&G has offered me a varied experience and has met my personal career objectives. I have always felt supported by my management and have been able to find roles that meet my work-life balance goals. Moreover, I have held different types of roles in different functions, different geographic locations and varying levels of travel while always feeling challenged.

Cons

Work-life balance can be an issue especially at P&G where technology is embraced at all levels. This is a particularly challenging issue as the company pushes towards an agile office environment. When dedicated employees have flexibility to work in a home office and with colleagues globally, it can be challenging to step away from the computer or set the Blackberry down.
