Pros
Publix has a huge emphasis on providing a fantastic employee experience, and they succeed. Processes are clearly laid out, chains of responsibility are clear and documented and departments work well together without the usual corporate politics. Great place for a long and rewarding career.
Cons
As a retailer the focus is less on innovation in technology and more about using proven tools and methods to drive business value. Personally, not a huge con, but for the more technically oriented looking to build something disruptive this may be a challenge.
