Pros
If you are looking to go into consulting, you should understand that all the firms have the same limitations ; travel, work / life balance... etc. The differentiators between the firms will be a) opportunity, b) investment from leadership, c) stability, and d) your fit. I've looked around at other firms, before choosing to stay with PwC, and found that PwC has the highest regard from its employees on top boards like glassdoor, vault, etc. This is because the firm works hard to create a supporting, and stable culture. The partners (for the most part), are great. There will always be many that are not, but the partner culture is one of trust and investment. This creates a strong, and sensitive leadership that will keep PwC on a leading list of employee satisfaction and prestige.
Cons
Like all growing firms (yes, PwC is growing, and is starting small in the advisory business), there is organization and cultural issues that are blatantly apparent. It will take time for the firm's dust to settle, but if you get in, and prove yourself during the times of change, it is a great opportunity to be part of a startup within one of the larges professional services firms in the world, and one that is sure to be a leader very quickly.
