Pros

This company only has Brand Name, I joined for that reason.

Cons

They will keep change in different project without train you or without map your skill set. they assign any available project, without checking whether you have the skill for that job. I joined as Developer , but they gave me the project to work on client side to gathering requirement and solution & document design for 4 month, again they pull me out from that project & assign another project in which i don't have required skill. They dont assign the project based on your skill. they simply assign whatever available project

Pros

Nothing positive about this company.

Cons

Always felt singled out because of my nationality. I guess to fit in their HR team you have to be from the UK, Australia or India. All in all the people I met in their HR team were not only mean, but also incompetent and clueless about HR topics in general. I would suggest you avoid this company if you work in HR as there is nothing progressive about it. So much left for diversity and inclusion...way to go PwC....you have really paved the way in this field!

Pros

1. The office is beautiful and well-maintained 2. Does not put a cap on food or other expenses, unlike the majority of the companies, when sent for training abroad

Cons

1. The Bangladesh office collaborates with PwC India or more specifically Kolkata office; minimal scope to get into or be prepared for a leadership role unless you play according to their terms (work really late hours, be okay with them assigning things out at the last minute and expecting you to complete those sacrificing weekend or your sleep). 2. No proper HR. HR in Bangladesh is in essence a puppet of management 3. If anyone decides to join PwC, please make sure you give a thorough look at compensation. They include employer's contribution to provident fund to make it sound like you are getting more than you're actually getting. Note - Employer contributes to the provident fund only after an employee has spent a specified number of years with the company, hence adding employer's contribution to compensation in the offer document makes no sense. 4. Minimal scope of creativity/introducing own way of doing things 5. Critical feedback is given right in front of every employee which should not be the case 6. Line managers tend to be unsympathetic and criticize without having taught anything in the first place 7. In the name of training, I was sent to Kolkata and made to work crazy late hours for about a month to help with their tax work. The expectation is be in Dhaka and do the tax work when it is tax season in Bangladesh and be in India and work like a dog when it is tax season there. There is no compensation offered for that. Moreover, we are not supposed to work for PwC India.
