Pros

Good Salary, Opportunity to work with CXO level from client side, some great young minds have joined the firm.

Cons

PwC India thinks its a corporate company transforming Indian companies ran by family members from lala companies to one professionally driven, among others like digital transformation, but company itself works like a lala company. Every thing is to swindle client with old PPT's and Excel sheets. No flat hierarchy, ideas aren't accepted nor heard by most of the members, Directors and above don't review work but rework just to make 10*10 = 100 into 9*11+1=100. Digital transformation is a joke since they don't have a team to execute projects but only people who are functional consultants who are falsely hired stating a project is live but they have nothing in pipeline either! The backbone of digital transformation are fancy words with mind boggling text heavy PPT's without any proofs! No work life balance, as most senior people have no life. No culture as such, its a mixture of EY, Accenture and no one gives a damn about work culture - or whatever culture that exists is pathetic! Very less people stay in this org unless the art of swindling is adopted, one cant stay long

Pros

A good stepping stone and a place to touch on many projects for learning purposes.

Cons

Always overworked even during non-peak hours due to the KPIs that we are forced to meet, no first year bonus. Often pressured to take more tasks when we are overloaded. Company condones managers that have unethical behaviors (e.g. micromanaging, passive aggressive attitudes, scolding in an open office) which causes fear and pressure to the staff working under them. Not to mention the offboarding process, where offboarding checklist takes forever for the other party to click off. IT staff being unprofessional by insisting that I pay money for a iphone cable which I did not receive and continues to mock me by accusing me on why I didn't take from my friends, etc. They did not bother checking on the checklist which I indicated I did not receive it. After paying, the IT staff took my phone to check the details, but end up showing my bank account details/transactions to the other employees without my consent, invading my privacy and confidentiality. After returning the company assets, IT staff did not bother to guide me on how to leave the building properly as I did not have access to the doors anymore. This can be done more smoothly and professionally, given PwC being a prestige brand name. Disappointing
