Pros
You are usually working with very smart people on at least decently interesting projects and there is very definite potential for advancement.
Cons
If you want to get ahead you need to work 65+ hours a week at least. They say it's only during busy season, but in reality it's more about 45 weeks every year. The work load only increases as you go further up. The average life span for people after retirement is something like 3 years or similarly ridiculous because they are very much burned out.
