Pros

Most of the people are great. Lots of opportunities for travel (not always glamourous) and to try different areas of the business. ACA qualification may be useful for finding jobs afterwards.

Cons

Pay does not reflect the long hours, incessant travel and general negative atmosphere, and has not increased for 10 years. Expectation that staff will work long hours and have no life, due to an extreme shortage of staff, which the firm will not rectify as that would take money out of the partners' pockets. Ridiculous focus on 'winning work', selling and cold calling, despite the fact that we already have more work than we know what to do with. Audit is thoroughly miserable, and senior staff make it clear that we should always fudge the figures so the accounts get signed - this does not encourage junior staff to show any integrity. This job has changed me from someone happy to work hard at something I care about to someone who resents every extra minute of unpaid overtime. Don't do it.

Pros

I would say NOTHING. Not even single point to praise PwC SDC. This is just a life spoiler for many employees.

Cons

If anyone wants to spoil their life please join PwC ( SDC ). I'm working here from January 2014. PwC SDC India doesn't even have good management people. They started hiring lot of people and still hiring with no reason and no projects. Please consult 3/4 employees before joining ask interviewers before they even start an interview. HR will behave as though they are all born with aptitude and great attitude nothing guys its all fake. We are seeing them everyday they are absolute zero. Management will say only one point PwC is a big brand. They chant all the time and they are spoiling it on the other side. Whether you come from big decent organisation with values leave everything before stepping inside PwC SDC. Whatever skill you gained or want to continue with forget all PwC director management has only one mantra billable resource they have spoiled life of employees like sending iOS, other talented employees to do data entry job. Its must you can't say no. Till today I have not understood about PwC is for doing data entry job why do you need engineers and iOS, JAVA, ATG and android resources ? Recently PwC SDC hiring lot of number, no one is having project and everyone dying to go out. Its like a trap, no one understands this trap. HR's have a huge black money commission from consultants their job is to make sure employees stay here for min 3 months and they pay to consultants so consultants will pay to PwC management as their deed in back. Advice to everyone before joining ask questions to interview panel, managers. Get to know about projects very well , since PwC don't have any project they cheat you and hire. Careful about this fact. HR's / Management policy : You feel its not US cultured but they say PwC is great brand by chanting word brand 100 times a day. For everything you need to pay. Reimbursement is hell, you need to run behind people everyone try to escape telling others name to contact.

Pros

Health benefits and a few perks.

Cons

Where do I begin? 1. It's all political. It didn't matter that I consistently had the highest metrics and performance, I was always rated poorly. Leadership hires and promotes their friends and yes men. Not the hard workers who actually know what they are doing. It's all fake. Smoke and mirrors. If you're a Sr. Associate expect to work 20-30 hrs of OT a week and your pay won't go up.
