      Pros

      - free hot drinks machines - nice offices and canteens - decent benefits - good wfh balance - good socials - opportunity to meet great people - if you are lucky you can move to another line of service (leave operate) - if constantly on projects it can be good

      Cons

      - pay is not the best in any of the big 4 at a lower level - progression seemed very biased - heavy favouritism within operate, unproffessional biases, bad attitude and behaviour overlooked, heavily critisized on small things - opportunities only given to the same individuals (often those who are the most unpleasant or non-inclusive) - being on the bench not on a project for long periods and being critisized daily - arguably too much of a feedback culture - diversity within operate is bad- microaggressions/subtle racism felt - if you join within a group, be prepared to tolerate high school mentality depending on your luck - sent on random short term projects nothing to do with the role, eats into own weekends for travel (not counted as worked hours) and often unpleasant work or mistreated by managers
