Pros

Global brand that gets you plenty of opportunities, if you play your cards right.

Cons

PwC is all smoke and mirrors. They have a ton of PR around DEI, but continue to harm Black and brown employees everyday (and their turnover numbers show it). Their own head of DEI is a Republican and has been on the record in saying she doesn’t want to make any whites people uncomfortable. They have zero accountability for their senior partners who harm employees with impunity every day. The performance management process is a joke, rife with bias and outright unethical behavior. The pay is also poor in relation to other firms. It’s a terrible place to work.

Pros

1. Only money but still for lateral entry it is not market standard. 2. If want to learn politics.

Cons

From where to start... 1. No work life balance. Most of time you need to work for 13-14 hours. Including night out weekend. No one bother you. 2. Not technology stability. They is no project standard they maintain. They only know revenue. 3. There is no HR structure, all are decided by partner. No feedback is anonymous internally, everything is getting tracked. 4. If you have oil machine then you don't need to work just oil senior leadership, partner. Everything is corrupted here upto partner. They don't give value of your knowledge. Don't join PwC. People are just running away from this firm even if in probation period.

Pros

Young colleagues, good social life.

Cons

The big four essentially are brazen pyramid schemes, with a winner takes all approach. If you are a partner you are on circa 750k, next level down, you are on 150k and a graduate is on 28k (London). You will be worked like a dog, with no reward, except a badge on your CV, and if you are lucky (and most people are not statistically) you might make it to partner, but then you have probably wasted your life.
