Pros

If you get on the right program you will be immersed in new technologies and get a lot of good experience that will translate elsewhere. The people are good, smart and hard working in general.

Cons

Some programs are stuck in the Stone Age and their experience will not translate well elsewhere.

Pros

Okay but expensive benefits. A lot of good people to work among. Usually interesting and challenging assignments. Flexible working hours. Office spaces are average. Cafeteria is available but over priced. Nice fitness/workout center.

Cons

Huge corporation with slow to react management. Management is busy keeping stockholders happy while people are leaving for better conditions, pay, etc. VERY difficult to get ahead if you're not one of the favorites. It's better to be a contractor than employee. No training budget, so to keep skills current is up to you on your own time. Annual raises are a joke.

Old school with lots of office politics

Pros

Raytheon offers generous compensation packages.Good salaries and benefits however benefits are starting to slip. Medical plans have become weak with poor coverage.

Cons

Hard to accomplish things here with too much bureaucracy and office politics. It is often not what you know but who you know in order to be recognized. Not a friendly culture with little regard to its employees. Poor leadership that is more interested with ticking off the boxes than actually doing anything meaningful. Inflexible and unable to keep up with more modern business practices.
