Pros

Exposure to new tecnology and the benefits. Tucson is great if you love the southwest.

Cons

Career advancement based on "buddy system", too much emphasis on "diversity". Tucson is a "one-horse town", no job hopping here for engineers.

Pros

You work with a lot of stupid Managers who don't know what they are doing. So you can chill out all day.

Cons

Dum people, 95% process, 5% actual doing work. Lots of people who have meetings all day everyday and accomplish nothing. This goes on for years and knowone seems to care. I didn't believe it until I got a job there. They have more useless people then any company I have ever seen, who sit around and do nothing, and get paid $$$ for it. All you can do is laugh about it, cause when you tell upper management about it, nothing changes. Its just this companies corp. climate.

Pros

They have a long legacy of making missiles. They have a lot experts in this area. Cost of living in Tucosn is low. I like the 9/80 work schedule. Raytheon participates in profit sharing which is nice.

Cons

Living in Tucson is okay, but it does get very hot in summer time. I moved here from California. The life style is slow as compared to California. There are not much to do in the long weekends.
