Pros

You are able to get flexible work arrangements (9/80, 4/10, etc) Some managers really care and want you to succeed Easy transfers to other segments if you want to work on different projects

Cons

Some managers are only out for themselves and only care about their "numbers" Raytheon is a little old-school when it comes to hiring based on experience, so if you don't have a 4 year degree, even with prior experience, you're not likely to be considered. If you're on the wrong project and don't have any connections, you will experience burnout and feel locked in
