Pros

People here are very smart and are open to you asking questions when you first start out. Flexible hours (you can build up time to take a few days off). I also like my management, they are open and give good feedback.

Cons

Honestly, most of the work seems very meaningless. Things take forever and you're working on very outdated technology. And if you don't have a security clearance they put you in a building for 12 months with nothing for you to do while you wait. No projects, nothing to work on.

Pros

There is good and interesting work. I’ve been exposed to a variety of subject areas and I’ve had plenty of hands-on work that allowed me to expand my skills. My boss cares about my career development and assigns me to projects that are aligned with my interests and career goals. Coworkers are nice, smart, and willing to help out.

Cons

The workplace can be isolating at times, since I am expected to work on tasks on my own. However, this problem isn’t too pervasive and may change in the future (since I am assigned to a scrum team).
