      Good line leads. Overtime available.

      Cons

      The company need a manager with common sense. Today, a new protocol was implemented: workers are fired with no warning for opening the door for other employees. Keep in mind, over half of the employees here don't have access cards. There is a breakroom/lobby area and the factory proper requires another access card. "For our saftey" workers aren't allowed to wait for their shift to start in the building. This rule was implemented in 102 degree weather! Rules like this are more and more common. This was a great company, but the management thinks they can screw the workers and help the bottom line.

      Pros

      International career opportunities for most levels (grads to senior management). Good Medical Aid scheme. Schooling for kids covered for international movers. Buy-out or housing allowance if moving from country with lower cost of living.

      Cons

      Stress, stress, stress... and more stress. Very competitive environment. High rotation (result of international moves and/or not coping with stress) therefore duplication and "re-inventing the wheel" happens quite a lot. Too much office politics and wishful thinking, not enough attention given to facts. Salaries not always market related, a lot of differences between people on same levels.
