Pros

RB has clearly defined business goals and targets, and information is constantly communicated. Led by a results-driven management team, while benefits' package is superior.

Cons

Morale very low, no work/life balance, very unfair evaluation policy, and "promote from within" policy is lacking to say the least. Very, very unhealthy atmosphere and culture.

Pros

1. Its a company that is making money. 2. Constantly reviewing costs and reducing operating costs. 3. Quick in making 'sexy' decisions. (Decisions that are pet projects of senior management) 4. This is site dependant, but some sites have more of a pro-active and team approach to resolving issues. However, some sites just think that its always 'somebody else's fault'. 5. If you happen to be senior manager's pet favourite. 6. If you enjoy punishment.

Cons

1. Annual review of job performance/ relation to pay is redundant. It is pre-decided by your line manager and annual review is simply lip service. 2. No promotion from within. Like observed in previous reviews, top managers (top400) do not usually come from within the company but hired from external companies. 3. Perks depend on which function you work in the company. Essentially, if you're in the manufacturing sector, you're not really appreciated. 4. If they think you're doing horribly, they say nothing. If they think you're doing well, they also say nothing. You never know where you are. So until the day, they give you your P45, you never know where you stand in the company. 5. They like to make you think you own the role, to empower you to complete the role. The truth is, they only want to influence you into doing more than your role/ what you are paid for. Frankly, your pay is not going to reflect your contribution. 6. They have absolutely no respect for academic qualifications. This is how backward they are. I believe in the university of life, but that doesn't mean, you belittle academic qualifications. 7. People who blab nonsense and is proven to blab nonsense get ahead. People who can actually resolve the issue/ come up with ideas, never get any credit. Because when something works, its either a team effort/ somebody else's credit. 8. Frankly, they don't want any brains. They want a loudspeaker who can then spend his/her time shouting down the phone at subcontractors.
