Pros

Competitive pay and benefits. Opportunities for advancement to Europeans, and young internationally mobile Americans. Technically-limited can advance to R&D management.

Cons

Limited opportunities to older American employees, most of whom have been forced out. Style favored over substance. Two tier employee system is actually acknowledged and supported by management. Upper class - 'High Potentials', Europeans Lower class - the rest

Pros

You can progress very quickly within the business

Cons

There is no such thing as work/life balance! The culture is not as good as it could be - in that it is over competitive rather than thinking about how you will win more if you work as a whole team; very long working hours, and not as much fun when at work.
