Pros

It's a large Fortune 500 company, with global reach and some very well known brands. That kind of helps when it comes to looking for a new job. There are some nice people and people are very much can-do.

Cons

Where do you begin? It's a highly political, back-stabbing culture that delights in flouting the rules - and even encourages it. You really feel like a slave: the place is so under-resourced that you effectively do the job of three people, working all hours of the day and night for median levels of pay. I can't count the number of times I fell asleep at my laptop late into the night while working on something for them. They pile you with so much work it's impossible to succeed - you're basically set-up to fail. HR have the attitude that everyone's replaceable so they don't really care about people - the job of HR seems more about putting a gloss on something that's utterly shabby and trying to stop the company from being sued.

Pros

Lots of learning and progression opportunities. Amazing brands. They look for well-rounded (Jack of all trades) individuals so you can expect to do a lot from day 1 and learn from other smart people. Fast paced organization, but offers a lot of exposure and global opportunities. Competitive compensation package.

Cons

Not a culture for everyone. Sink or swim - you won't have much hand-holding, and training is minimal (likely from your colleagues during lunch). Work-life balance can be non-existent at certain periods of the year. Very little processes in place so can expect to dedicate time to fixing things and being reactive to problems.
