Pros

Results and action focussed. Opportunity for progression and international movement is good at all levels 9even quite junior). You can move fast if you keep delivering.

Cons

Not a sympathetic, hand holding environment. It is all about the numbers - there is no sympathy in your bonnus packet just because the currency collapsed, or a customer went bankrupt. People can be a little humourless.

Pros

Good Benefits, 401K, Medical, Dental, Vacation, holidays, etc.

Cons

Little to no recognition for a job well done. Personal initiative is never appreciated, even though the company claims to be interested in individual ideas. Quick to layoff, regardless of company profitability. Does not consider cutting costs through decreased raises, bonuses, trips, and fancy sales meetings. Would rather cut heads than find alternative methods of saving money. Poor work-personal life balance, 60 hour work weeks typical without any offer of comp time. Human Resource Dept is untrustworthy, they do not support the employee but senior management. The employee cannot share any issues or problems witht HR, which is very inappropiate.

Pros

* Strong portfolio of well-known brands * Good exposure to FMCG pace and cross-functional work * Can be a decent place to build early commercial experience

Cons

* Leadership quality is inconsistent and politics can outweigh merit * In my experience, senior leadership often felt distant, selective, and overly focused on M-1 layers rather than the broader organisation * Interactions from some leaders could come across as performative rather than genuine * Junior and executive-level employees were not always treated with the same respect in meetings * HR felt out of touch with what teams were actually dealing with on the ground * Sales teams can feel overstretched, under-supported, and left to handle too much on their own * Repeated restructuring / VSS cycles create constant uncertainty and hurt morale * Poor transparency during people decisions and organisational changes * Values sound strong externally, but employee experience does not always match * Short-term firefighting often takes priority over clear long-term direction * Internal mobility and career pathing can feel unclear or selectively applied * Trust between employees and leadership can be weak
