Pros

They offer food and snacks. The owners of the company are smart and impressively built the business from the ground up. There ARE some really talented people here, if management allowed them to actually contribute to the vision of the company.

Cons

There are too many to list here but here is a start: sweatshop labor, poor management, inappropriate commentary and behavior by management and sales staff. Management, at least in some areas, are insecure and seem to feel threatened in some way, and tend to ridicule people right there in front of others. Whether it's sales, marketing , technical, IT or project management tasks, management will criticize work, attempt to redo it then resubmit it to clients or other audiences fraught with mistakes and erroneous information so that it becomes way worse than if employees were just allowed to complete their projects in the first place. It's embarrassing. Also, the company employs practices of exclusivity, and, not unlike high school-- cattiness, gossip, bullying, and ... demands that all employees write positive reviews for the company. (Yes this is true)... It's like watching a teenage after school special about bullying. The whole nonsense that SADA is a progressive company that appreciates teamwork and new ideas is absolute rubbish. If you were once a confident, competent and well liked employee with many years of experience prior to joining SADA, within days you will be reduced to near tears from being ridiculed and talked about; criticized and bullied. Stop the madness.

Pros

Honest and good work. They are trying to do a good job.

Cons

These guys do not know how to be professional. They treat employees like cogs in a a machine. They act like they are gods gift rather than just another of 1,000 similar companies.

Pros

-Decent initial salary -Used to have a wide project portfolio guaranteeing utilization and aligning to company goals

Cons

-Hired tons of outside leadership who did/do not take into consideration the people at SADA -For years the communication from SADA was that selling the practice was not in the cards. After multiple rounds of unexpected workforce reductions, the company sold to Insight -MANY layers of management who are not proactive and simply reactive. I found it incredibly difficult to escalate a problem to leadership as there would be finger-pointing and playing the blame game versus assisting in a resolution -The bonus program was changed to pay quarterly based on utilization, but there were not enough projects to hit utilization targets rendering the program useless -Company goals seem arbitrary and not based on previous years actuals (Example: expecting Q1 and Q2 to produce the same revenue when Q1 is notoriously slower is setting everyone up for failure) -Merit raises went from fair to dismal -All the People aspects of SADA were eliminated (weekly talks with leadership, employee/team led activities, feeling like you're more than a number) -Obvious nepotism in leadership that I'm not sure is recognized by anyone but the ICs
