Pros

I have been at SADA for quite some time so one can always argue a review being bias. SADA hires people from companies like Google, Apple, Microsoft, and more. It's great to work with such talented engineers. Watching SADA grow from 30 people to 100's has been amazing, challenging, and rewarding. We get to work on big data projects, machine learning, network architecture, and more. We also have products that are changing the way people work. Our engineering team is focused on constantly growing technical cadences (such as continuous integration/continuous delivery.) Overall, the culture is relatively flat and offers a lot of latitude/flexibility. SADA is growing quickly (to say the least) so it is a fast-paced company but they do a great job accommodating this growth. I have never felt such a great growth in technology and culture working elsewhere.

Cons

Because SADA is growing so quickly, it is important that the company's policies/cultures stay up to date. I know the operations team is constantly striving for this and delivering. It would be great if we began delivering a weekly knowledge center for new employees.

Pros

The CFO cares about you as an individual for the most part and some groups seem like they are run better than others. Good opportunity to connect with partners like Google but other than that...

Cons

These reviews or ratings must be old.....because this is not a good place to work. It seems like someone quits very week. I think there have been 10-15 people who quit since January...what's going on??? Free food only distracts for a certain amount of time HR...

I appreciates all feedback and will always try to utilize it to make improvements. I’m sorry that this is your experience at SADA. Are there very specific things about your job, role, or manager you're not satisfied with? If so, it's something worth discussing with your manager and/or HR. It may just be that this role or our company simply is not a good fit for you. SADA is a place where we do feel both the immense opportunities and certainly the pressure of being one of the top partners in our field. One where we must continue to grow and perform for our clients, each other, and our partners such as Google, Microsoft, and Facebook. This is not an environment where everyone or anyone will flourish. This causes some turn over - usually in the first 90 days, but also at any point where we feel or our employees themselves feel after a few years, this is no longer the best match. Providing lunch is not just a benefit we provide our employees, it’s part of our history and tradition. When SADA first started back in the day, working out of our garage, our co-founder, Annie Safoian would make us lunch every day! In addition, SADA participated in 3 different Best Place to Work surveys for 2018, where our employees answered anonymous survey questions, and we won all 3! I’m really proud of what we’ve accomplished but I acknowledge there’s always room for growth and improvement.

Pros

The $$ is good.

Cons

Substandard or NO accountability to anyone, especially our customers. When the economy cools we will be the 1st to shut down. I'm tired of not being able to look customers in the face on any project.

This is challenging to wrap my head around as CEO because it's simply so far from the core of who we are. We measure all aspects of our performance as a company, down to each department and each individual's personal and professional goals. I see accountability everywhere. Also, our very essense in our business model depends greatly on repeat business and recurring contracts - which makes up sometime like 70-75% of our Revenue - by design. This also makes us extremely well insulated against any major macro economic conditions. We started in 2000, and we started our 11-year growth spurt in 2007. We've seen more than one economic cycle. Like all companies growing as quickly as we are - naturally we don't nail it 100% with every project - especially because the nature of our business is breaking new ground on a daily basis. Yes, we have room for improvement, and are consistently evaluating our processes, procedures, and people. My guidance to you is - if you see something that could use improvement, please bring it to your direct manager or me directly with some suggestions as around how we can improve. I commit to you we take all such feedback seriously.
