Very broad portfolio of products. Interaction with companies of any size/industry. Truly global reach. A lot of possibilities to learn and explore different areas of expertise. Frequent reorganizations allow for frequent job shifts, especially for those willing to travel and reallocate.

Cons

Too much politics at middle-management level + too long reporting lines. Constant shifting of priorities. Strategy not broken down consistently across different organizations. Solid organizational silos. Technology decisions taken without technical argumentation by non-technical managers.

Pay and benefits were great, although my salary (from many years at an acquired company) may have been a reason I was part of a layoff. Many opportunities to learn/work - as long as you are in the right location. The company is focused on improving user experience across its core software line.

Cons

It was hard to find information in all the noise of the corporate portal, or a person who could provide the right information. It seemed there were several groups working on the same thing, and groups did not necessarily talk to each other.
