Pros

Good products. Supports the needs of most enterprise customers. Good install base of customers. Should be easy to continue up selling.

Cons

Current Exec Leadership in Marketing is more interested in moving up the corporate ladder than focusing on the business. Entire organization has no faith in her leadership. People are afraid to speak up.

Pros

Good 401k matching. Good place to learn about enterprise software.

Cons

Significantly low pay compared to other jobs in the Bay Area. No clear company agenda. Too many managers which create a huge disconnect. Many managers are unqualified and upper management only care about numbers and not results. Trust in management is super low, especially after the huge layoffs in March. Tech stack is old and becoming obsolete. Progress is slow. Unless you’re planning on retiring soon, staying for more than a few years in SAP is career suicide. That’s a reason why many employees have a hard time leaving the company and those who do end up leaving for MS, Salesforce, Workday, etc.

Pros

The kind of work you get is unparalleled.

Cons

Local site leadership is pathetic. All they do is self boast, and they continuously ignore employees' complaints. They fight with you rather than fighting for you. Can't digest if someone points out their weaknesses, they'll insult you in front of whole team at every chance they get. They just cannot digest the fact that they can be wrong. They believe in crushing people's head to stay on top, rather than pulling people up along with them. Working with some people here is a continuous mental harassment. If you decide to leave the company, they'll call you money minded, saying "we gave you a chance, else I throw resume like yours in the dustbin". Unfortunately the count of bootlickers has increased a lot in recent years.
