Pros

Good work flexibility, able to work from home. Nobody is watching you so can often leave early.

Cons

Terrible management who don't know what they are doing. Managers are not trained properly to lead teams and lack the experience and talent to help drive Stephen Kelly's vision for the company. Nothing ever gets done.

Thanks for your feedback. We know how important work life balance is, so we offer it as much as possible so it’s great to read you benefit from this approach. It is critical not only for colleagues and the business that we have fantastic people leaders, hence earlier this year we designed and rolled out the Leading@Sage programme which all our people leaders have to undertake. Approximately a third of leaders have started the programme where they are trained in high performance, One Sage and how to thrive as a leader in the first 'License to Lead' modules. This is a huge investment in our managers and shows we are dedicated to make each and every manager the best leader.

Pros

Being part of a large company, the company has great employee benefits and time off and wellness initiative. This make up for some of the lower pay rates throughout the company. Sage is recognized internationally, so there are opportunities there.

Cons

The company is not very good a developing its new cloud accounting solution and that products growth is struggling. No one will address the product issues. If you join the team, just smile about the product and you will make a good rapor. If you critigue it, you will be reprimanded. Careful.

With our awesome product development team our roadmap is full of exciting enhancements and innovations, coupled with our mantra of "customer obsession" - we really are making a difference with the Sage Business Cloud - we are the only company to offer the accounting, financial, enterprise management, people, payments & banking software from start up through to enterprise - as our customers grow, we remain with them - that is unique!
