Pros

- The people (colleagues & majority of team managers) - Pay is reasonable

Cons

- Senior leadership egotistical and lack of real world knowledgge (prime example of this being the recent 3 day mandatory office day policy - lack of accountability from the top and unrealistic expectations. Shocked to hear the lack of direction and support given to mid-management to actually manage the changes. Either incredibly ignorant at worst or frustratingly naive at best, - FY23/24 momentum seems to be stagnating - FY25 feels like impending drastic changes. - Rumours of lowering global staff headcount target which supports the theory of volutnary attrition. - Removing condensed hour contracts so if uou want progression you have to go back to standard 9-5. stuck in a rut! - A real shame for a company i once loved - maybe change at the top is needed.

Pros

Highly talented team Pension contributions matching is decent Five personal development days a year Salaries are average

Cons

Progressions have been non-existant for a while, the small number of people that get them get a title change and a very small pay rise which means you actually lose money as you lose the extra bonus top-up for exceeding your current role. Current policy seems to be you need to officially exceed your role for three years before being able to be promoted. Office looks nice from the outside however it is incredibly not fit for anything other than photo ops. Toilets keep overflowing Water pressure keeps having issues Coffee machines have a lower reliability than McDonald's ice cream machines Not enough parking Not enough places to sit as a team Takes twenty minutes to get served for lunch Lifts break often New mandate that all your Teams calls should be taken in the office. Reason given is to "increase collaboration" however not sure how that can be true when your team will not all be based in the same office. Current rumours as it's way to downside and unfortunately that makes more sense than teams calls in the office increasing collbaration. Product feature requests that come from above rather than customer feedback are not well thought out. We keep spending months of features customers do not use because it sounds good to some exec somewhere.

We appreciate your feedback and have read through your comments. Please note that our hybrid working approach is an important element of the way we work at Sage that is complemented by other benefits such as paid time to volunteer, the ability to work away for up to 10 weeks a year and free well-being support tools. We recently also answered several colleagues' questions about the new 3-day policy. In doing so, we've shed more light on how colleagues will be supported as they adhere to our updated hybrid structure. More information about what we offer can be found here https://www.glassdoor.co.uk/Benefits/Sage-United-Kingdom-Benefits-EI_IE1150.0,4_IL.5,19_IN2.htm - Thanks for taking the time to leave your review. Pros

People working here are nice.

Cons

Work from home policy has changed to 3 days minimum. This is a total waste of our time travelling only to be in teams call as we work with different countries. Lack of parking space if you go to the office
