Pros

They contribute to 401K and you're immediately vested

Cons

They only hire after you've proved yourself as a temp. You would assume that the pay would increase a lot after conversion but it does not. It's a call center so you are very much being micro managed. Very strict about taking breaks and lunch on time. Takes a very long time to be promoted in the company and as a barrier to promotion you have to take a test. The annual raise is a joke.

Thank you for your feedback. Once you become permanent you will receive benefits such as our award-winning colleague share plan, also you become part of the bonus plan. At Sage, we encourage internal moves and currently 24% of all fills are from internal candidates, in some regions it's in the 40s, but we do want this to be higher. Colleague have access to 1000s of videos on Linda.com to help with their learning & development. Also, colleagues are encouraged to work with their manager to create their development plan and review it regularly to ensure they are meeting their own personal goals.

Thanks for your feedback. You are right - there has been a cultural shift at Sage as we have introduced a high performance culture. Sage is leapfrogging established cloud competitors, compete effectively against new entrants, and be recognized as a leading Technology company and hotbed of innovation. Sage products have grown up fast and the team are constantly looking at how they can deliver a first class user experience and continue to engineer a scalable robust solution for our customers. At Sage it’s fast paced, it can feel frenetic and overall it’s a rewarding experience for the right person.

Pros

Hmmm..., I'm thinking... Good insurance and other benefits.

Cons

Sales leadership for the X3 team are reading from a 1970-something Glengarry Glen Ross playbook that would make Alec Baldwin's character Blake blush and shake his head. The "QBR" quarterly dressing downs of the X3 sales team are more Full Metal Jacket in delivery and value. The duplicity of the X3 Sales Leadership in misrepresenting its tactics internally and to its channel is infuriating. There was an over-hiring of sales staff with nearly zero marketing generation support, making the chances of meeting the (doubled from last year) quotas impossible. Great sales talent have been driven out of the X3 team and out of Sage.

The Enterprise business recently entered a period of significant investment and growth. X3 has become one of Sage’s flagship products and as part of the investment plan we recruited more colleagues to support our growth going forwards. We are pleased to say we have some fantastic colleagues in the X3 team - from sales, marketing, support and product design. CLOUT, Atlas Cloud, and BrightBridge are examples of our ability to handle larger customers' needs with X3 - borne out by our team's ability to really make an impact. David Watts, our vice president for enterprise in UK and Ireland, said "Over the last 12 months, we've really underlined our commitment to working with larger enterprises and embracing smart partnerships that contribute to making our X3 business management solution more beneficial and appealing to enterprise businesses." This goes to show the changes made to the X3 team are really working. Thanks for your feedback and we wish you every success with your career.
