Pros

Great direct management at ground level.

Cons

Executive leadership team is completely disconnected from employees on the ground. Closing local offices and forcing employees to go back to the office hubs and commute for 2-5 hours a day. Work life balance gone, productivity gone, morale gone!

Pros

Very customer focused, a real leader in accountancy software.

Cons

Latest announcement to colleagues mean working in office 3 days a week. In my personal circumstances, it makes zero sense as my team doesn't work in the same office as me. I've worked remotely for 4 years no issues, returning to office has made it less enjoyable to work for sage. Unless you live near an office, DO NOT APPLY AT SAGE as they will expect you to come in or you will likely lose your bonus/job. I live 2 hours away from the office, my productivity is soo low now.

We recently also answered several colleagues' questions about the new 3-day policy. In doing so, we've shed more light on how colleagues will be supported as they adhere to our updated hybrid structure. Pros

None, except for catering for lunch. And they had snacks constantly stocked in the fridge. Literally that was the only thing that was good about working there.

Cons

Everything. From training, to the manager (who was based out of the UK), the leadership team (abusive and toxic - they would yell at employees and belittle you with no empathy or regard for your emotions), all the way down the resources that were given to you to do your job (which was very little). And not to mention, they demanded a high level of performance within 2 months of working there. Wasn't even enough time to get trained effectively or learn how to do the job. My manager, who's name I will not mention (it rhymes with "hallux") was verbally abusive towards me, non-stop. They're was a huge cultural barrier because all the higher ups were from the UK and treated the US employees like crap. I had zero work/life balance. I was working 80+ weeks without any support from my manager. He would say "you're the expert, you should know what to do." It was not hard for me to quit.
