Pros

I just wish the integrity and experience level of the leaders was actually what they project to the world.

Cons

When I started at this company I had high hopes. I quickly learned that the things you are told when you are hired are simply false. The way this company is structured and managed is a nightmare. Currently, the managers setup up so you cant meet goals and unrealistic expectations. The employees get no encouragement only extreme pressure and condescending attitudes. So many of us dread walking it the door.

Pros

Good people (although this is very sadly shrinking) Good employee benefits Some good junior managers

Cons

Bad working culture. Under Steve Kelly after the restructure in December no direction. Mass redundancies then exit of knowledgeable, specialist, passionate people. High stress, inappropriate unachievable deadlines with little or no resources people/tech. Cutting costs to the point we cannot function, while wasting money on meaningless prestige, hiring half a floor in the Shard. Do not recognise/reward specialists. Ever decreasing respect/treatment of staff. The CEO Steve Kelly standing next to Richard Branson at the Sage Summit as a status symbol when implementing the exact opposite of Bransons ethos.... putting staff first.

Pros

Colleagues are great. They plan activities to boost morale.

Cons

The upper management who are very out of touch with what their employees do or how to stick to a process. They are so desperate to sell Sage products so they make exceptions all the time for clients and partners which is a disaster when those same clients and partners expect to get away with more discounts and no one can keep up with what's doable and not doable for processing those sales. Lack of structure overall.
