I was a recent hire to Sage. When I was recruited I was sold something that was so far away from reality. I knew in my first month that things would not work out but I stuck it out to give it a chance. Now I wish I hadn't because it was time I will never get back. Whatever you do ask questions before accepting a role there. Make sure to ask to speak to a team member so you can find out the truth and see the level of unhappiness in the teams. You will be sold a company that is transforming when in reality a lot of poor leaders are papering over the cracks of the past with bad decisions and short term bets that will have little impact in that effort for transformation.
The only thing you can learn is from the mistakes you made by not asking the important questions before you sign your contract
