      Pros

      If you are 20-something and looking to get started, Salesforce is probably a great place to started or better yet, Pardot which was acquired by Salesforce is even better. The culture is young and hip, not corporate at all.

      Cons

      Quotas are unattainable. They are peanut butter spread with complete disregard as to what the opportunity is in the territory. The culture is not corporate at all-if you expect management to behave like adults then you need to look elsewhere. It is getting to be more like Oracle every day. No one cares about the customer or the employee.

      - Politics, politics, politics - Product set dated, especially around process management, analytics/decisioning, big data - Oracle clone - Plenty of little emperors in middle management positions with dillusions of grandeur - Average compensation - Overly reliant on inflated Sales Engineering organisation desperately working to shore up glaring gaps/deficiencies in an increasingly fragmented product set

      Growing Pains. Bad Politics Very Weak Senior management The CEO hired Childhood friends who are now EVP's who don't have the knowledge or ability to organize the work and set up the processes to make a company of this size run smoothly Be warned Its better if you are in sales or an engineer but frustrating to get things done Bad politics
