      Office politics! Blatant nepotism!

      Pros

      Lot of 'talk' about values, at least they exist on paper. VTO opportunities are comparable to the other big technology companies.

      Cons

      High level of office politics especially at the managerial level. The company is transforming into a federal government job with the people managers (including VPs and Senior Directors) playing office politics in order to hide their insecurities. Moreover, they are openly practicing nepotism, preferring their favorites over an individual's skills, talents, hard work and results. The career growth opportunities are extremely limited unless your manager has an ethnic or racial soft spot for you.

      Favourism, micromanagement and lack of growth

      Pros

      Flexibility, Salary & Benefits. Salesforce has a great benefits for the employees. The salaries are also good.

      Cons

      The management is not doing great job. They micromanage employees and also there is a lot of favourism in the team. Once the manager has favourites, the rest of the team is left alone not being developed, not getting a chance to grow or to be promoted. There are a lot of tasks that are useless and are mainly a box ticking tasks that are a waste of time for both employees and management. As an American company they do everything for America region and some culture items does not suit other regions.
