Pay is neither amazing or terrible. It really depends on where you compare to; if comparing to Manufacturing side engineers, pay is on upper-mid of the spectrum but if compared to tech (ex. Google) then it's way low... the name Samsung gives many people the wrong impression i think. management is too slow to fire people, hence there are too many dead-weight in the company. Director levels can't let go of their ego. Directors playing politics and stealing projects by going behind people's backs. WLB is just... okay. It is a manufacturing plant after all, just that we make semiconductor chips.
