Pros

- number of annual leaves is higher than most companies - investing in their WESOP option is highly beneficial

Cons

In my 4 years, I've worked in a few teams, in GSC (manufacturing plant) and in Digital (AI HUB). And the short review is, if you get a job in either of these, decline NOW. My 3 years in the GSC manufacturing plant were HORRIBLE with 6 day working (which nobody informed us prior to joining as GETs).. FULL of misogynistic employees who will not cooperate in anything, and who are verbally abusive.. I moved to Digital thinking it would be far more progressive, being IT and all. Management here was also very bad, either indifferent to concerns, or straight up unwilling to listen to them using quotes like "my way or the highway". Teams will spend hours on giving KTs without passing any useful information, will force everyone to give SOME output, not the RIGHT output, within ridiculously unrealistic timelines. I am writing this as I am in my notice period, but even these 3 months I am not able to handle the burnout this company has caused. Don't even think of reaching out to HR for your issues. They will only reply if you have something beneficial to give them. Nobody is there to assist you with any HR issues. I reached out to them myself multiple times before finally saying I need an early release due to my failing mental health and I was seenzoned.

Pros

Benefits. Other BUs are open to collaboration if you are persistent in your outreach and bring something to the table. A lot of great people work at Schneider. Good place to start out a career for a year (2 years max) to get hands-on experience. After that, move externally for career growth, and market-rate pay - moving internally will not result in pay raises more than 2-5%.

Cons

No employment contract was ever provided, only an offer letter. Compensation is far below market. Commission structure and payouts are altered at will to the benefit of the company. Culture is very much determined by the team management - meaning if you are unlucky enough to land with a toxic manager(s), your life will be made a living hell, your commissions reduced at will or withheld entirely, and any attempt to transfer to another team or business unit will be undermined. HR is zero help. No work-life balance. High performers are not valued and are seen as a threat by some in key positions.

Pros

Job security is high, and there is a bonus structure in place.

Cons

Once you're hired, there is no way to get raise that matches inflation without leaving and coming back. Benefits year to year continually get worse. Work life balance year to year continually gets worse. Schedule flexibility year to year continually gets worse. Very poor support both technical and IT. Schneider electric's compensation and raise structure pits employees against each other so on top of having a lack of technical support from the engineering department, other technicians are incentivized to not provide support or help.
