Pros

I'm struggling right now to find a pro... most of what they say is for show only.... HR in this company is a joke, and they really don't care for the majority of staff - Looks like they want robots only

Cons

Highly political, and limited career advancement or development. If your not French, a woman, or from an developing economy back ground your often over looked unless your a political machine who walks over and uses people. Often see incapable people put in leadership positions ......it just amazes me how much waste is made by this company in its development

Pros

Great coworkers. Made many friends over the years. Friendships are forged in fire. Once the Stockholm syndrome wears off you'll find there are better places to work.

Cons

Californians now have the option to end unbearable end-of-life suffering, unfortunately this option isn't afforded to Pelco. It has been gasping for six years never able to take a full breath. Pelco's inability to innovate has metastasized, and regular layoffs are a predictable and embarrassing incontinence. No company should have to suffer this much.

Pros

I joined as a Graduate Engineer Trainee and spent good amount of time in Schneider Electric Bangalore center, seeing its transformation from GTCI to Innovare one R&D Campus. I think pros depends on teams as well but here are few : 1.Complete autonomy as a developer to set up processes and tools you want to use. 2. Opportunity to travel abroad, depends on projects though but most of them have it.Most of of GET Batch mates had traveled multiple times for 2-3 months to Europe and USA within first 2 years of our careers. Many people get opportunity to travel for long term which is generally 2-3 years. 3.Work life balance. 4. Good learning culture, allowing you to learn and improve on the job.

Cons

I think the biggest con, which was not there in the earlier years, is the Salary. It is way too low as compared to market standards. It has worsened a lot now. I do not know what is the reason for this decline, but i feel lot of good people have left Schneider because of this. I know of lots of people(including me) who have doubled their salaries within 1 years of leaving Schneider. Tells a lot about quality of people that were hired and made to leave due to salary disparity. I was reading in news that Schneider reported 28% loss and in 2016, my ex team mates told me that they got only 40-50% of their bonus. Not a good sign for the company.
