Pros
I love working at ServiceTitan - It's been an amazing experience. It's an incredibly friendly environment for the most part and I couldn't imagine being at any other company in our industry. I've been on personal trips, bachelor parties with my colleagues across the country that I've literally 'met' over zoom. We also have open communication with almost every position varying from our CMO Chris Petros to our #ask-industry channel full of experts who originated from the industry. INTERVIEW: Left quite a great impression. I met with Billy Stein, Mel Petty, and David Sherman who were very transparent with expectations. It was a stellar experience especially considering our remote environment. They're all very wise and I was honored to join the team. ONBOARDING: Incredibly impressive. Andrew Chen, Zane Romano, and Matthew Amalfitano were outstanding in leading us to be successful in the realm of sales. Having a background unrelated to sales (Music Education) - I felt they truly caught me up to the 'sales majors' in a matter of weeks. SDR I (or "Territory Manager") : Moved to Parveen Marrero's team. She was a wonderful leader, mentor, and friend! She truly listened to what I wanted in my career and constantly pushed to get me to my current role communicating to our partners, suppliers, and ecosystems. She is very knowledgable and I owe her a lot of credit when it comes to my development. BDR (TitanSDR but actively traveling) - Taylor Stillwell is now my current manager. His approach to completely surpass quotas has led our team to be extremely successful and his drive has resulted to completely obliterate numbers. I love getting to travel, take our partners to dinner, and consulting businesses in regards to implementing our software.
Cons
With ServiceTitan constantly growing, there's a large probability for issues and growing pains. I am always extremely impressed with our ability to attack things head on, address related parties, and move forward. I want to make it clear that the company is very active in listening to our problems and addressing them. In fact, if you're reading this more than a month or 2 after this posting - these problems are most likely already fixed! ORG/ORG: Our sales department, specifically the XDR/AE relation, could use some improvement. It's currently being addressed and has already been communicated between departments but I was disappointed seeing certain promotions with individuals that stopped short at even fulfilling our basic core values. EXPENSES: After changing programs, our expensing process took a hit. We're constantly waiting for expenses that take over 10 days to clear. I find myself having to slack multiple members of our finance team and other members of our strategic team have had similar issues.
