Nepotism at it's finest. Feels like you're in a bad
Pros
-Great product with a significant future -Work with some really great people -Lots of great people who are very driven -Changing the home services industry -Lots of opportunities to wear many hats
Cons
This is specific to the Schedule Engine portion of the ServiceTitan business. -The husband-wife team constantly makes terrible decisions with little to no foresight. Extremely reactionary at every single step. -Not even a remotely collaborative environment. What the heads say and think goes with no consideration. -Micromanagement from the Head of Pro Product to the point where she is responding in every single slack channel no matter who is asking / what they are asking about. -Riddled with favoritism and nepotism. Countless occasions of handcrafting roles that don't and shouldn't exist for family friends and ex-colleagues. -Constant nepotism promotions. (friends, family, ex-colleagues, people who work for their estate) -Complete lack of direction most times which has only been marginally improved by ServiceTitan stepping in and offering real leadership, but still not as involved as they need to be to steer the ship back on track. -Terrible leadership from the very highest level of Schedule Engine has led to hiring terrible senior and mid-level management. The majority of managers at SE are brand new to management and have no guidance or training from SE. Legacy hires that were the best IC at the time were promoted to Leaders by necessity and timing. -Very little room if any for growth. You MUST play into the Husband-wifes's favoritism or you will not be promoted. -Constant missteps that never seem to lead to a lesson learned. The same mistakes are made often despite recommendations from leaders. -Overall very toxic environment
