Pros

I have worked at ST over two years. It is filled with very high performers. Some the smartest developers and solutions engineers I have worked with in ten years of software. I've seen other reviews on glassdoor that reflect bad experiences a few individuals have had. That's fair, its a 700 person company- so there are bound to be some tough experiences. Having said that, I feel its necessary to say that some of these reviews are petty. I have worked in sales for some time and ServiceTitan is a pretty good place to sell. As sales teams grow? There is always changes in roles, territories, etc. But they are kind of 'champagne problems' when everyone of my peers is paid enough money to make all their bills, and have a fair amount left over. For all the competitiveness, I feel like we have probably only lost about 4/5 'closers' in the last full year (quitting or fired). And there is about 25 of them. There are five women- but they are highly tenured, highly successful, very well-paid women- who are all absolutely impressive and crush their numbers. They have the same leads, opportunities, territory sizes, equitable career paths in every way. There are also women in the Leadership structure of Sales Development (including 2 of the 4 managers), Solutions Engineering, Senior Leadership of Revenue Ops, Implementation, Business Development and Growth, etc, etc, etc.. In fact, I asked about our ratio just the other day and over the whole company we are between 40-45% women in any given quarter. And have been since year one. If people have worked in tech for any amount of time, they know that is not common. It especially hurts because the recruiters worked hard to find them, and each of them is a true high performer/impact player (i.e. no there to fulfill an expectation). I also happen to know that the company had its best month ever in July, and is absolutely on track for all its goals (I probably shouldn't be more specific than that, but I read that other review and it hurt. We are working ourselves overtime to crush). I know that no job is perfect, but we have a lot of people that really love to work together, a lot opportunity exists because the company is in hyper-growth, and a lot of professionals from some of the biggest names in business at the C- and Senior Leader Level (Sony, Redbull, Adobe, Netflix, Tesla, Salesforce, Google, Amazon... with degrees from Oxford, Harvard, USC, Berkely, Stanford, etc). To any previous critic? It is really, really hard to argue that any of these people got where they are on anything but merit. I have never wanted to write a review in the whole time I've worked here, but I like working at ServiceTitan, and a lot of us do. Its work though, so no matter what- some folks wont have a great experience. And there are days that I've had here that were tough, frustrating, and sometimes overwhelming. But that's balanced by people that truly know what they are doing, a culture of inclusiveness (we have lactation rooms, an LGBTQ charter, an extraordinary diverse group of employees, and an all gender bathroom...so the critic on our inclusion is just unfair) and a lot of incredible benefits. We have your pick of twenty entries catered in every day, unlimited flex PTO, a kitchen that is so well stocked with snacks, fruit, and drinks it will make you dizzy. There is fresh cold-brewed coffee for Pete's sake. Not to mention the dog-friendly policy (always great pups walking around), the dozens of bean bag chairs and games on every floor. Sheesh, I think there is new 'quiet' room for meditation on one of the floors. They just announce a 401k match starting next year. Oops, forgot about the Friday happy hours with great themed snacks and cocktails. And the multiple charity drives we always deliver big on. And there is yoga, I think, on one of days (?). I don't know, I don't do yoga. But I do like the seminars our Learning & Development team does on different ways to communicate, trouble-shoot relationships, bias, and even burn-out. They were even called up to the majors and asked to make videos for LinkedIn. I am not sure if I'm missing anything. Ping-Pong. Lots of Ping-Pong. Too much Ping-Pong. I guess when you've not been in the workforce very long, these things may be taken for granted. But if you have worked a few other places you will immediately recognize ServiceTitan as a company that over invest in its employees as the first priority. Who then over deliver for the clients as a result. Our recruiting team works too hard for a few bad reviews to keep us from the best talent. So if you're the best of the best? Gives us a call, there are still seats on this rocket ship.

Cons

I guess the growth has made it harder to communicate with teams now that we have so many floors in two different buildings. I think they are working that out, but its hard to just consolidate that many teams into one building over a short period of time. I'm not sure if Atlanta has the same problems or not. Also, sometimes we take ourselves too seriously. People are working on really important stuff, but my favorite people in the company are also the funniest.

Pros

-You are in charge of your work and schedule. As long as you deliver the results and are actively engaging in the companies goals leadership will recognize your value. No one will be looking over your shoulder making you feel uncomfortable with your work methods. -The team is awesome. You will feel like one of the pack in no time. Everyone is eager to share their knowledge and help you get on your feet. -I don't know about everyone else but free food is awesome and the benefits are top notch even compared to my previous employer who is a well know for treating their employees with lavish benefits (Even part-time). -Leadership is working HARD. They are open to feedback and are aware of the strengths and opportunities that the company has. -The work you do is important. There is no role that does not form a crucial part of the companies success. As long as you like to challenge yourself and own your learning you will love coming to work.

Cons

-We are growing FAST and yes there are growing pains. One day you will think you are starting to get comfortable with a certain workflow and the next day this way of doing things could be scraped (Usually for the best) so be ready to roll with the punches. -If you do not do well under the pressure of figuring things out on your own you may feel overwhelmed. But if you welcome challenges that ultimately lead to the development of skills you may not have even known you had then this could potentially be a pro and not a con. -If you want to sit at a desk, walk in at 9am leave at 5pm and expect to stroll through your time working at this company you will not be happy here.

Pros

- Every day is exciting. Most times I'm taking on new opportunities. Some times I'm overcoming challenges. But excitement is constant and guaranteed. - The culture is excellent. I know every company talks about that, but this place is all about it's mission of helping underserved customers, and there's a clear focus that customer success if the most important thing. - The company celebrates its people and the milestones along the way. If you contribute in a big way, you will be recognized by leadership and/or your colleagues. - Personal development is important to me, and ServiceTitan invests in it. I learn plenty from very successful and smart colleagues around me. I also have access to lots of professional development content and programs. My manager also pushes me to take on stretch goals to elevate myself. - Adorable dogs at the office. Who doesn't love cute dogs?
