Pros

Big company profile so benefit from working for a big name if you decide to move on, established structure and workstyle. Good pension plan, a range of benefits and corporate perks. Business expenses always covered and subsidised food. Opportunities to apply for other roles once in the company

Cons

No financial incentives, on the graduate scheme £500 bonus every 6 months based on performance review. Other non graduate full time emloyees get up to 10% bonus at the end of every year, graduates not applicable until their 10th year. Employees mostly do things to benefit them.

Pros

I was a HR Intern. Siemens has a good internship program in which the supervisor who requested for the intern has to prepare an comprehensive internship program for the full duration of the internship.

Cons

Nothing particularly negative about the company or the department I was in. A rather negligible down side is that the company is located in a relatively inaccessible part of Singapore.

Pros

adjustable tables and not for everyone, several coffee machines/kitchenettes, a decent canteen, good underground transport connection

Cons

SIEMENS MOBILITY DEPARTMENT / TRAIN lower and upper management doesn't really care of you: be it German managers, be it Czech managers, they show bossing and general disrespect to employees. German/Bavarian managers are slightly more welcoming than Czechs; Czech and Erlangen coworkers aren't really helpful; In Prague office exists mobbing, lack of appreciation of foreigners on a deeper level; coworkers actively discuss refugees' crisis in Germany and propose nasty solutions to that. management doubles the quantity of desks in their open-space offices, thus the quantity of coworkers in the room; Czechia is a nearshore for the Germans, so you travel back and forth and report to 2 Czech and 2 German managers. if you book a vacation, you will be forced to cancel it because of some extra "work". This happened when I participated in Erlangen`s departmental job meeting and the German boss asked them to work on Saturdays thus colliding with already booked vacations of some coworkers; active gossiping and calumny in the place; task stealing in the place; they save money on an employee's trip lunch! the same engineering position is years long on offer!! Bad organisation of job trips: a big mess with Amex cards, the secretary is always out of work, there is noone to book hotel rooms and the management will finally blame you for that. During the interview at Siemens Mobility/Trains the Czech boss will go down with your already low salary without even informing you of that face to face.
