Pros

Fully remote work. Great people. Flexibility of working hours.

Cons

Ever increasing workload. Hard to progress. Almost no focus on projects or learning. Company culture has suffered since Salesforce acquisition.

Pros

- Nearly everyone I worked with embodied Slack's values: humble, collaborative, hard-working and smart - Work hard, go home culture is live and well - Great place for growth

Cons

- Steady corporatization since Salesforce acquisition, less product-focused and more sales-focused - There are fewer and fewer left who were part of Slack's culture pre-acquisition

Pros

The product is going in an exciting direction and users genuinely love using it.

Cons

There's been a lot of change in the last few years but as much as we yearn for the good old days, the reality is that everyone has changed - not just Slack.
