Toxic workplace

Business Outlook

Pros

- Great pay and amazing benefits that are definitely above market average - Fun and popular product.

Cons

Snap allows certain toxic middle managers to exploit their teams, cultivate a gossip culture that pits people against each other, and even tolerate psychological and verbal abuse. When these issues are raised, Snap's preferred solution is to lay off those who bring them up, through a system of quarterly layoffs. It's ironic that one of Snap's values is kindness. Chaos reigns as the norm, with unstable leadership and senior management appearing directionless. The company's universal remedy? Endless rounds of layoffs.
