      Pros

      looks great from outside but the company culture leaves a lot to be desired. Google for a business insider article on what it is like to work at this secretive company. it captures quite accurately what goes on Might still be a good place for junior engineers straight out of school to grow their initial careers

      lot of technical debt and poor architecture decisions everywhere. top down decision making with a flavor for micro management across the entire chain of hierarchy. senior engineers are not empowered and trusted. working from home is frowned upon. Too many first time managers with no clue on how to grow engineering careers

      Pros

      Competitive base salary, stock price is currently in the single digits so if you join now there's a chance for upside, good benefits, many coworkers are genuinely kind and helpful people.

      Cons

      Incompetent senior leadership team that takes no responsibility for their decisions that have now impacted the revenue of the business and the plummeting stock price, no work/life balance, total 180 on supporting remote work and then flip flopping a few months later to require RTO 4 days/week with insufficient notice, review/bonus structure is laughable, all hands meetings are heavily scripted and used to gaslight employees.
