Best part of the day was leaving…

Pros

Being able to play a crucial role in the world of sport and working for a visionary of a CEO is nice.

Cons

Poor management day to day - long hours and some managers can be very rude - swearing at individuals (I had this happen to me) and a very belittling nature towards a number of staff. They are happy to make examples of anyone within the office and that doesn’t lead to a great collaborative working environment. No chance of progression within most teams unless someone leaves, which is most likely the best way to grow - move outside the business. Poor pay for a central London role and what they expect of you and the level that is demanded. My current role pays better and doesn’t expect me to be writing reports that are at the level of a junior lawyer, whilst the renumeration is half of that role. When you break it down, expect to be worked hard constantly and KPIs are literally all that matter to managers as it affects their bonuses. This isn’t always their fault, everyone is going to look after their pocket, but maybe edit this so that it’s not all about ££.
